The awards ceremony of the 2014 JUNO Awards. Considered the “Canadian Grammy”, the JUNO awarded several national music talent and thanks to broad support from his fans, Justin Bieber won the category JUNO Fan Choice, but it seems that win 4 consecutive years in the same category did not please the audience JUNO, which jeered the victory of the singer of 20 years.
Despite the boos, not all audience JUNO was convinced that Justin did not deserve the award, the Canadian singer Serena Ryder, left in defense of the star during his acceptance speech for the award for songwriter of the year.
Bieber must have been relieved not to have gone, however, the star took home the JUNO Fan Choice Award, and his victory was greeted with boos by the crowd at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg. The answer was shocking enough that when Ryder won the following award as songwriter of the year, she found time in his speech to defend him.
“I really think Justin Bieber is an amazing musician and he deserves every bit of this award,” she said. “He’s been working my ass off throughout his life and we need to support how amazing it is.” Crowd in however, was not convinced.
